Though no one expected it, Jesus used the death of Lazarus to teach the great truth about Himself.

Jesus claimed to be the Resurrection and the Life. Everything that has been made in heaven and on earth was made through Him!

Even though Jesus knew that Lazarus had died, He tarried beyond the Jordan. He wanted His final public miracle to be indisputable in its magnificence.
